A Self-Consumption System consists of the installation of a unit for the production of energy from renewable resources, to feed the electrical consumption system, which can significantly reduce the consumption of energy from the public electricity grid.
We make your company more sustainable. The power of a system of this nature depends on the load profile throughout the year, and can vary from a few kW units to hundreds or even thousands of kW of rated power.
We analyze the consumer’s consumption and electricity bill. We made a visit to the facilities, to survey physical and technical conditions, and we elaborated a commercial proposal that optimizes the investment to be made.

LEGAL FRAMEWORK
Decree-Law 162/2019 of 25 October approves the legal regime applicable to self-consumption of renewable energy, partially transposing Directive 2018/2001. The evolution that occurred at European level, operated by Directive (EU) 2018/2001, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 11 December 2018, on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources, highlights the growing importance of self-consumption renewable electricity, defining the concepts of self-consumers of renewable energy and self-consumers of renewable energy that act collectively, as well as of renewable energy communities.
That directive provides for a regulatory framework that allows self-consumers of renewable energy to produce, consume, store, share and sell electricity without being faced with disproportionate charges.
This new regime is created in a complementary logic, in order to ensure the fulfillment of Portugal’s goals and objectives in terms of energy and climate, through the combination of centralized instruments for the promotion of clean energies (for example, capacity auctions) with processes decentralized which, by their very nature, improve social and territorial cohesion, contributing to the reduction of currently existing inequalities, namely through job creation and improving the competitiveness of companies distributed in the national territory.
